How To Overclock Nvidia Cards

GeForce is a product model line of video graphic cards created by the Nvidia computer hardware company. These video cards allow you to hook up external video display screens to the system and often come with accelerated graphic cards built in, allowing you to view improved graphics and higher quality video games or animations created on your desktop. Many of these cards have an s-video connection port, allowing you to hook up television monitors directly to the computer. S-Video provides a slightly higher image resolution over the yellow RCA video cable, but does not match the picture quality of component (RGB) or HDMI.

Connect S-Video Cable to GeForce Video Card

Insert one end of the s-video cable into the s-video connection port on the GeForce video card (both ends of the s-video card are the same so you don’t need to worry about what end to use). If you have just installed the GeForce card yourself, you need to make sure the driver for the card is also installed (provided on a driver installation CD). Without the driver, the computer is unable to detect the GeForce equipment, and the video signal is not going to travel through the S-Video connection card.
