Painting is one of the disciplines organising artists who work in Wasps studios across Scotland. In its seventh year, the Wasps OpenStudios Weekend 2008 offers the one-off chance of “exhibiting artists’ work …where they work”. Today and tomorrow Sunday October 5, 2008, 117 artists will be available to meet people wishing to buy Scottish art direct from the artist in their Wasps studios.

Wasps Hanson Street Studios, Wasps Artists and Painting in Glasgow

Wasps largest building, providing studio space for 200 artists working in the East End of Glasgow Scotland, is the Hanson Street Studios, The Wasps Factory, 77 Hanson Street, Glasgow, G31 2HF. The Wasps Factory, a £2.2 million redevelopment of a former tobacco factory, opened in 2001.
