Credit Score Needed for Chase Credit Cards

Chase Bank is considered a prime bank and as such they look for customers with good to excellent credit. That means that most people will have to have high credit (FICO) scores in order to qualify for a Chase credit card.

Most sites that offer information on who is and isn't approved for a Chase credit card seem to indicate that a consumer should have a credit score of at least 680 to qualify for a Chase credit card. However, having a credit score of 680 or above isn't a guarantee that someone will be approved for one of their cards.
